TRU Rapid Fire Mini Congress 2022
The Tactical Research Unit Rapid Fire Mini Congress is on again during Bond University Research week. The event will highlight the latest research in tactical populations (military, law enforcement and fire and rescue) through a keynote presentation, rapid presentations from its research students and a guided industry/academia discussion. Topics will cover several fields including using fitness tests and standards in tactical populations, sex differences in equipment wear, how to assess competence in critical skills, thermal impacts on performance, and how industry and academia worked together to optimise body armour systems.
The Keynote address will be given by Dr Jace Drain from the Defence Science and Technology Group.
